Online State Estimation for Supervisor Synthesis in Discrete-Event Systems With Communication Delays and Losses

In the context of networked discrete-event systems (DESs), communication delays and losses exist between plant supervisor for observation actuator control. this paper, we first introduce a new framework supervisory control DESs. Under introduced framework, address state estimation problem synthesis DESs with both losses. The algorithm considers effect controls imposed on system. Additionally, is based decisions available up to moment, all future are assumed be unknowable. Two notions, called “observation channel configuration” tracking “control losses, defined. Then, an online approach controlled Compared existing approach, proposed under can estimate states system more accurately. As application finally show that methods applied synthesize maximally permissible safe supervisors.
